New York-listed gaming supplier Scientific Games has launched a new live data solution for American and European sports.

Match HQ is integrated with Scientific Games’ OpenSports product suite, as well as other sports betting platforms, to give bettors real-time data that helps inform betting decisions.

The data is displayed in a scoreboard widget and includes current score, play-by-play animations, commentary, and in-play team and player statistics on a range of sports including football, basketball, baseball and tennis.

“We’re ramping up our US sports betting presence with the launch of Match HQ under the OpenSports umbrella, and this is a big win,” said SG Digital senior vice president of sportsbook Keith O’Loughlin. “More importantly, we’re shaping the betting experience to be seamless and intuitive for the end user. When punters have this information at their fingertips, it makes for a better experience, plain and simple.”

Match HQ is part of the OpenEngage branch of the OpenSports product suite and expands the offering from SG Digital’s Red7 studio.

Match HQ scoreboards are already live with Caesars Entertainment, with more partners slated to launch in the coming weeks.

Shares in Scientific Games Corporation (NSQ:SGMS) closed in New York Monday at $19.52 per share, down 1.76 per cent.
