New York-listed lottery and gaming supplier Scientific Games has announced plans to offer $1.2bn of senior unsecured notes due in 2028 and 2029.

The net proceeds of the proposed private offering by SG subsidiary Scientific Games International (SGI) will go towards redeeming all $1.2bn of SGI's outstanding 10.00 per cent senior unsecured notes due 2022, and all $244.0m of SGI's outstanding 6.25 per cent senior subordinated notes due 2020, alongside accrued and unpaid interest, fees and costs.

Shares in Scientific Games Corporation (NSQ:SGMS) closed 5.53 per cent down at $29.84 per share in New York Monday, having set a new 52-week high of $31.63 per share on Friday November 8.
