On the back of a poor Cheltenham Festival last month which generated £10.7m less revenues than last year, UK bookmaker Ladbrokes plc has reported a 2 per cent increase in total net revenues for the first quarter of 2011, with a solid performance from the company’s retail business and a marginal improvement from the company’s digital operations.
