According to the latest comprehensive data published by gaming authority AAMS, poker was the only online product producing a positive performance in September with most other products in reverse. The figures also reveal how the market has consolidated in recent times, with three operators now accounting for the lion’s share of all spend and GGR.

In decline throughout the first part of 2011, the online market has, as expected, seen an upturn since the introduction of cash poker and some casino games in mid July. In August and September, the first two months since the launch of the new products, both turnover and, more importantly, GGR were substantially up compared with the same months of 2010.
