UK bookmaker William Hill plc has reported a 2 per cent increase in group net revenues for the 13 week period ended September 27th, with strong growth from the company’s William Hill Online (WHO) business offsetting a decline from its retail business.

William Hill said that while the growth rate was slower than in the first half of the year, the comparative period in 2010 benefited from a particularly strong margin performance driven by the World Cup and a strong early domestic football season.
