Swedish online gaming operator Unibet Group plc has reported a 22 per cent increase in gross winnings revenue to £37.8m for the third quarter of 2011, following strong growth from the company’s online casino offering which now accounts for nearly half of total revenues.

Following its disappointing results for the first half of the year, which saw gross winnings revenue (GWR) fall 11 per cent to £71.8m, Unibet returned to growth in Q3 on the back of strong performances from its sports betting, casino and games products.
