Australia’s Tabcorp Holdings Limited has reported a 3 per cent increase in total revenues to AUD$1,573.5m for the half year ended December 31st, following growth across all four of the company’s business segments.

Wagering revenues grew by 3 per cent to $849.9m during the six month period, driven by growth in the company’s animated racing game Trackside and fixed odds betting product which increased 40 per cent and 95 per cent respectively to $152.3m and $41.8m.

“All four Tabcorp businesses grew revenue and earnings in the first half of 2012,” said Tabcorp chairman Paula Dwyer. “This momentum across our core operations is particularly notable given the challenging business conditions being experienced across the broader Australian retail environment."
