In another strong set of results for the company, Sweden’s Betsson has reported an 8 per cent increase in revenues to SEK1,736.6m (€196.9m) for the year ended December 31st, with the company set to expand its operations in the Danish online gaming market following the signing of a B2B deal with Danish media group, Berlingske Media.

Fourth quarter revenues increased by 6 per cent to SEK515.2m, with turnover from the company’s sportsbook increasing 15 per cent to SEK2,171.3m.

“Betsson now ranks as one of the world’s most influential gaming companies,” said Magnus Silfverberg, president and CEO of Betsson. “We have achieved this position thanks to our strong growth and profitability as well as Betsson’s long-term efforts to create attractive gaming solutions for both partners and end users.
