UK bookmaker William Hill has reported a 6 per cent increase in group net revenues to £1,136.7m for 2011, following a second consecutive year of revenue growth of more than 20 per cent from the company’s William Hill Online (WHO) business.

William Hill lauded “another year of outstanding growth” in 2011, which was achieved despite the lack of a significant international football tournament and a £9m increase in tax payments following the change in the UK VAT rate in early 2011.
