Caesars’ acquisition of social games developer Playtika appears to be bearing fruit with the company reporting an 84 per cent year-on-year increase in revenues from the business segment which includes Caesars Interactive Entertainment (CIE).

Caesars said Wednesday that revenues from the segment comprised of CIE’s UK, Italy and France online gaming interests, Playtika and certain non-consolidated affiliates climbed 84 per cent to US$133.7m in 2011, mainly as a result of Playtika’s contribution.
