Spain’s LFP poaches anti-doping chief for integrity director role

Spain’s Liga Profesional de Fútbol (LFP), the governing body of Spanish football, has hired Manuel Quintanar as its new director of integrity as it looks to combat allegations of corruption in the sport.

Quintanar joins from the Spanish Agency for the Protection of Health and Sports, now known as the Anti-Doping Agency, and will head up the LFP unit responsible for combating match-fixing, doping and corruption in Spanish professional football.
