Swedish online gaming operator Unibet has agreed to pay €3.2m to the Spanish authority in settlement of liabilities arising from the company’s activities in the market between 2009 and 2011.

The non-recurring expense relates to Unibet’s historic activities in Spain between January 2009 and May 2011 and covers betting duties, interest and penalties, and will be recognised as an additional expense in the third quarter ended September 30th 2012.
