Worldwide lottery sales increased by 7.7 per cent for the full 2012 year with double-digit growth across all regions except Europe, according to the latest figures released by the World Lottery Association (WLA).
The WLA, the umbrella organisation for state lottery and gaming operators, said that sales growth moderated in the final quarter of the year, following a strong first nine months of the year.
