Shares in UK-listed gaming operator Rank Group fell by more than 3 per cent Thursday morning as the Grosvenor Casino and Mecca Bingo operator warned of lower than expected operating profit for the full year as a result of declining revenues.

In its interim management statement for the 15 weeks ending October 13th, Rank revealed a 7 per cent year-on-year fall in group revenue had declined 7 per cent year-on-year, driven by a "disappointing performance" by Mecca's online and retail businesses.
