Sweden’s licensed gaming market has seen turnover from games and lottery products in the first quarter of the year fall 5.5 per cent, with horse racing monopoly ATG the only major operator to report year-on-year growth.

Total games and lottery sales fell to SEK9.8bn (€1.09bn) during the first quarter, with net revenue also declining, down to approximately €4bn.

The total market continues to decline, having fell marginally by 0.3 per cent in 2013 to SEK46.8bn - the third year in a row that the market has diminished.
