Gaming and lottery supplier GTECH has recorded a 2 per cent fall in revenue for the first quarter of 2014, with 1 per cent growth in services revenue failing to offset a 33 per cent fall in product sales.

Total revenue in Q1 amounted to €781m compared to €798m a year ago, primarily as a result of lower video lottery terminal (VLT) sales in Canada versus Q1 2013 and currency exchange fluctuations. On a constant currency basis, total revenue was down by €2m.
