German online lottery brokerage Lotto24 says it expects to post a larger loss in 2014 than in the previous year due to a strong increase in marketing expenditure, despite posting a 750 per cent increase in first quarter revenue.

Lotto24 described the first quarter performance as a “very promising start” to the year following a successful 2013, with billings and revenue well in excess of the prior year period and in line with expectations.
