The Hoosier Lottery (Indiana) has achieved the highest sales in its 25-year history through its private management agreement with supplier GTECH, although results were slightly below expectations.

GTECH Indiana took over the private management of the Hoosier Lottery following the signing of a 15-year integrated services deal in October 2012, managing the day-to-day operations of the lottery and its core functions.

The company had projected sales of $1.056bn for the 2014 financial year, with $256m returned to the state to cover existing pension and retirement funds.
