Strong interest in this summer’s FIFA World Cup has helped the French online gaming market to post year-on-year growth in the second quarter.

According to newly released figures from L’Autorité de régulation des jeux en ligne (ARJEL), the French iGaming market saw second quarter revenue rise 10 per cent year-on-year to €180.5m, helping half-year earnings to inch up by 1 per cent to €355.5m.
