Tipp24 shares dip as new investments impact bottom line

Germany's Tipp24 has recorded a significant drop in net profit for the nine month period ended September 30th after incurring higher expenses during the period relating to the company's investment in new business fields.

Revenue climbed 1 per cent to €105.4m during the nine month period, with the company claiming that its results were negatively impacted by Germany's success in the football World Cup which "distracted" players from participating in lotteries, as well as unusually good [...]
