The regulated UK gambling industry generated gross gambling yield of £6.8bn for the year ended March 31st, with contributions from the remote gambling sector surpassing the £1bn barrier for the first time.
Gross gambling yield (excluding the National Lottery) increased by 6 per cent compared to the previous year, with year-on-year growth across all sectors of the industry except bingo, according to results released this week by the UK Gambling Commission.
