Online gaming technology and services provider Playtech has reported a 24 per cent increase in annual revenue to a record €457.0m for 2014, with its flagship casino product a key growth driver.

Playtech posted strong growth across its casino, services, sports betting and land-based businesses, which helped to offset year-on-year declines in online poker and bingo.

Of the revenue increase, 13 per cent was derived organically from existing business, including strong growth in mobile casino, sport and Asia, with 7 per cent from new business and 4 per cent from acquisitions (including PokerStrategy, Aristocrat Lotteries and Eurolive).
