Shares in Swedish gaming operator Unibet soared by more than 12 per cent in Stockholm this morning after the company reported record gross winnings revenue of £80.5m for the second quarter of 2015.

Revenue rose 6 per cent compared to the same period last year, despite the negative impact of currency exchange rates during the quarter. Unibet said that its underlying organic revenue growth in constant currency was more than 21 per cent.

Mobile revenue increased by 48 per cent year-on-year, with mobile sportsbook turnover climbing 12 per cent.
