Frankfurt-listed online state lottery broker Lotto24 has reported an 88 per cent increase in revenue to €10.0m for the nine month period ended September 30th, boosted by a significant increase in registered customers during the period.

Billings were up 76 per cent to €101.0m, with gross margin improving significantly compared to a year ago, from 9.2 per cent in the previous year to 9.9 per cent. This followed a strong performance in the third quarter which saw billings increase 86 per cent to €38.4m and revenue climb 102 per cent to €3.9m.

Lotto24 said that it gained 306,000 new customer registrations during the nine month period, due to effective marking activities and a positive jackpot trend for EuroJackpot and Lotto 6aus49 during April, May, July and September.
