Spain’s regulated iGaming market generated gross gaming revenue of €84.2m for the third quarter of 2015, an increase of 36 per cent compared to the same period last year, with strong growth in the casino segment due to the introduction of online slots earlier in the year.

Figures released by regulator La Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ), turnover rose by 32 per cent year-on-year to €2.08bn, with sports betting representing nearly half of the total (47 per cent), followed by casino with 33 per cent and poker with 20 per cent.
