UK-listed spread betting and CFD provider Plus500 has declared total dividends of $0.8405 per share, equivalent to a payout of $96.6m or 100 per cent of net profit, following a strong financial performance in 2015.

Plus500 said that the results reflect the strength of its brand and business model, despite the “distractions and disruptions of an eventful year.”

“Plus500's operational team deserves credit for managing strong underlying business performance despite the regulatory issues that caused a temporary suspension of trading and onboarding in the UK and the distraction presented by the aborted merger agreement with Playtech,” the company said.
