Greek gaming operator OPAP has posted an 8 per cent increase in net profit to €210.7m for the full 2015 year, despite fourth quarter results being impacted by a €15m impairment of the Hellenic Lotteries license relating to the underperformance of the business.

Gross gaming revenue (GGR) rose by 2 per cent to €1,399.7m in 2015, despite total wagers remaining at the same level as the previous year at €4.26bn. With a payout ratio of 67 per cent, OPAP generated net gaming revenue of €625.3m, up 2 per cent year-on-year, despite a 2 per cent decline in Q4.
