Stockholm-listed gaming operator Cherry has exercised an option to increase its stake in virtual sports specialist Highlight Games.
Cherry has acquired an additional 12.5 per cent of Highlight Games for a consideration of £2.5m, taking its holding in the games developer to 37.5 per cent.
The company also holds an option to further increase its stake over the next 12 months.
