Sweden’s gaming monopoly operator Svenska Spel has reported a 1 per cent increase in net gaming revenue to SEK4,392m (€463.5m) for the first half of 2016, buoyed by continued strong growth in its online channel. 

Online now represents 21 per cent of the operator’s total revenue, up from 19 per cent a year ago, with net gaming revenue (NGR) climbing 13 per cent to SEK922m. This was boosted by growth of 60 per cent from its mobile and tablet offerings.
