China’s lottery market grew by 9 per cent to RMB104.18bn (€13.5bn) in the first quarter of 2018, benefiting from a strong performance from the Sports Lottery during the period.
Total lottery sales increased by 6 per cent year-on-year to RMB40.19bn during the final month of the quarter, with the Welfare Lottery contributing RMB19.79bn and the Sports Lottery RMB20.39bn.
