Denmark’s regulate gambling market remains on course to generate DKK9.0bn (€1.2bn) in gross gaming revenue (GGR) this year following continued growth in the betting and online casino sectors.

Total betting and online casino GGR rose 16 per cent to DKK935m during the second quarter of the year, according to results published by Denmark’s gaming regulator Spillemyndigheden.
