German online lottery broker Lotto24 has reported a 56 per cent increase in revenue to €15.6m for the first nine months of 2016, benefiting from high jackpots for the Lotto 6aus49 and EuroJackpot games.

Billings were up 40 per cent to €141.6m for the period, following strong growth of 48.5 per cent during the third quarter.

The operator gained 286,000 new customers over the nine-month period, raising the total number of registered customers to nearly 1.2m, up 41 per cent year-on-year. Lotto24 also reduced cost per lead (CPL) by 15 per cent to €27.24.
