Shares in William Hill fell by more than 3 per cent in London Monday morning after the UK bookmaker said that its 2016 operating profit would be in the region of £260m, at the lower end of its previous guidance.

William Hill had said in November that it was on track to deliver operating profit at the top end of its guidance of £260-280m, subject to normalised gross win margins during the rest of the year.
