Stockholm-listed gaming operator LeoVegas has reported a 49 per cent increase in revenue to €43.9m for the first quarter of 2017, benefiting from continued organic growth and the first contributions from its launch in Denmark.

Operations were launched in Denmark at the end of Q4 and accounted for 3 per cent of Q1 revenue, helping to offset the company’s exit from the Czech gaming market following the introduction of new legislation in January. The Czech market had contributed 4 per cent of revenue in the previous quarter.
