London-listed spread betting and Contracts for Differences (CFD) provider Plus500 has reported a 19 per cent increase in revenue to a record US$188.4m for the first half of 2017.

The company said that it delivered a strong operating performance in H1, driven by successful online marketing campaigns and a diverse product offering. This attracted record active customers of 112,317, up 8 per cent year-on-year, as well as 31,671 new customers during the period, an increase of 43 per cent versus the previous year.
