Frankfurt-listed lottery operator Zeal Network has reported a 6 per cent increase in total revenue to €65.0m for the first half of 2017, as the company continues to pursue its international expansion plans.

The growth strategy has seen Zeal enter the Norwegian charitable lottery market with a successful beta launch, with the launch of its Netherlands offering scheduled for later this year and its Czech licence application currently pending. The company has also made a €1.9m investment in Los Angeles-based start-up Omaze, which offers an international non-licenced social prize competition featuring once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
