Hong Kong-listed lottery supplier AGTech Holding has reported a 29 per cent decrease in revenue to HK$54.1m (€5.9m) for the first half of 2017, despite benefiting from the first contributions from new initiatives launched during the period.

The year-on-year revenue decline was due to reduced sales of lottery hardware products, which the company attributed to the timing of orders from customers that "tend to vary" throughout the year.

AGTech's results were boosted however by its newly established Games and Entertainment business, which generated revenue of $17.1m, equivalent to nearly a third of the company's total in the period.
