The French iGaming market grew gross gaming revenue by 18 per cent in 2017, after all three regulated verticals posted year-on-year growth for the first time since 2010.

Total revenue for 2017 increased to €962m, with the continued strong performance of the sports betting vertical supported by growth in online poker and betting on horse racing.

French iGaming regulator L’Autorité de regulation des jeux en ligne (ARJEL) said this improvement was down to an increase in active players across all channels.
