The regulated UK gambling industry generated total gross gambling yield (GGY) of £13.9bn in the 12 month period up to September 2017, with the remote sector contributing 35 per cent of the total.
Latest figures from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) reveal that total GGY was up by 0.7 per cent versus the April 2016 – March 2017 period, with remote gambling the largest sector as GGY rose by 4 per cent to £4.9bn.
