Stockholm-listed iGaming operator Betsson grew second quarter revenue by 14 per cent to SEK1,346.4m, with organic growth of 11 per cent.

Sportsbook revenue growth just outpaced casino revenue growth at 17 per cent and 16 per cent respectively, with a sportsbook margin of 6.3 per cent versus 6.4 per cent in Q2 2017.

Betsson's sportsbook revenue was buoyed by the FIFA World Cup, which accounted for 3.7 per cent of group revenue in the second quarter, while the casino segment posted its strongest ever quarterly performance as revenue topped SEK1.0bn for the first time.
