French lottery and sports betting operator FDJ Group has recorded a 4 per cent increase in total player stakes to €15.8m in 2018, benefiting from its ongoing digital investment strategy and a successful FIFA World Cup.

Lottery games represented the bulk of the annual total with €12.8bn generated in player stakes, with FDJ’s sports betting brand ParionSport surpassing the €3.0bn mark for the first time.
