Portugal’s regulated online betting and gaming market generated gross gaming revenue of €152.1m in 2018, benefiting from a strong performance during the final quarter of the year.

Gross gaming revenue (GGR) increased by 18 per cent in Q4 to €43.0m, according to Portuguese gambling regulator Serviços de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos (SRIJ), with sports betting generating just over half of the total.
