London-listed betting and gaming operator GVC Holdings has reported a 3 per cent increase in group net gaming revenue for the second quarter of 2019, despite a significant drop in revenue from its UK retail estate.

The operator enjoyed continued strong growth online as net gaming revenue (NGR) rose 17 per cent year-on-year, benefiting from double-digit growth in all major territories including the UK (+19 per cent), Germany (+24 per cent), Italy (+19 per cent) and Australia and Brazil (both up 38 per cent in constant currency).
