London-listed gaming supplier and operator Playtech has reported a 69 per cent increase in revenue to €736.1m for the first half of 2019, driven by a strong contribution from the company’s Snaitech consumer business in Italy.

Revenue from B2C gambling soared 345 per cent to €438.2m, comprising €395.8m from Snaitech and €24.3m from white label brands including Sun Bingo. On a proforma basis, Snaitech revenue would have been down 11 per cent compared to a year ago, negatively impacted by an increase in taxation on Italian gambling activities.
