French state-controlled gaming operator FDJ has reported an 8 per cent increase in stakes for the first nine months of 2019 to €12.54bn, with instant win games accounting for almost half of the total.

FDJ’s Lottery segment generated stakes of €9.98bn, an increase of 6 per cent year-on-year, with online and retail instant win games contributing €6.02bn to the lottery total and draw games the remainder.
