Iowa sports betting tops $46m in October

Iowa’s regulated sports betting market saw total wagers increase to $46.5m in October, with more than half of the total generated online.

Wagering at the state’s 18 licensed sportsbooks climbed 21 per cent compared to September, the first full month of legal sports betting in the state.

Online wagering accounted for 56 per cent of October’s total at $25.9m, up from the previous month’s $21.8m, with retail betting contributing $20.6m in wagers.
