Social casino studio FlowPlay has launched its back-end development technology as a B2B solution for social games developers, with Joju Games the first to launch a product on the platform.

The FlowPlay platform, which powers the Vegas World app, gives developers access to the infrastructure, analytics and monetisation tools designed to help them accelerate development cycles, and drive revenue from social casino games across all channels.

Developers gain access to FlowPlay’s massively multiplayer online architecture, allowing the game to support thousands of players that can compete against and socialise with one another.

It also allows companies to launch games through a variety of channels, with the platform integrated with all major web and mobile platforms including WildTangent, Yahoo Games, Google Play, Facebook Canvas and Amazon Kindle.

Companies can also integrate in-game ads through advertising partners like RadiumOne and Matomy, as well as gaining access to a payment network of more than 20 different providers.

The first company to launch a product on the platform is Joju Games, a studio founded by Bingo Blingo creator Juan Gril.

Joju is to launch a stand-alone app, a fruit-themed mix of slots and bingo called Fringo, which is already available through WildTangent, as well as on Vegas World’s site, before launching on Facebook and Android this year.

Gril said the ability to leverage FlowPlay’s platform to lower the time and budget required to launch Fringo made the decision “a no-brainer.”

“FlowPlay's comprehensive development platform and industry-high revenue per monthly active user were key factors in our partnership,” Gril explained. “Fringo is already seeing great success, and we're looking forward to bringing additional social casino games to market with FlowPlay.”

FlowPlay chief executive Derrick Morton explained that with strong competition in the industry developers needed a new way to differentiate their games.

“True innovation will come when developers expand beyond single-player slot games to offering unique, multiplayer titles that foster a truly social experience,” he added.
