Win, the social gaming company backed by bwin.party, has launched a variant of its first full casino app Stardust Casino for iOS devices.
The app, developed in partnership with casino operator Boyd Gaming, is now available for iPhone, iPad and iPod, offering a range of games including slots, blackjack and roulette.
The app features a 3D recreation of the lobby of the land-based Stardust Casino, once Las Vegas’ largest casino, which closed its doors in November 2006.
The Facebook version of the game went live in September last year, and has seen users play more than 22m slot spins, over 600,000 hands of blackjack and almost 200,000 spins of roulette wheels.
The app allows users to earn experience points the more they play, progressing from Novice to High Roller and move up player leaderboards as they win. Players also have a chance to win the Superstar Jackpot, which is awarded every day.
Stardust Casino also comes with a range of social features, allowing players to share their achievements with status updates, and gift fellow users free chips, bets, hands and spins.
Win has hinted that it will add more features to both Facebook and iOS versions of the app, with a social tournaments feature in which players can win large prize pools to be added, while new slots will be also be rolled out.
The app was the third to be launched by the studio, after Slots Craze and Cheeky Bingo were rolled out on Facebook and mobile last year. Parent company bwin.party was also involved in the development of Sportster, a social betting app launched by Serbian studio Nordeus earlier this week.
