Plaor, the social casino subsidiary of forum network provider CrowdGather, has sealed agreements for the exclusive rights to develop free-to-play versions of games created by suppliers 2 By 2 Gaming and Grover Gaming.

The agreements allows Plaor to license each company’s video slot content for use in its Mega Fame Casino & Slots app.

Four games from 2 By 2 have already gone live in the app; Waltzing Wilds, Swirling Sands, Wild Birthday Blast and Cosmic Invaders.

A further four from Grover Gaming, including its Searing Sevens slot, will be rolled out from June 2014.

Plaor chief operating officer Richard Corredera said he was proud to launch the games for its network of social casino players.

“Relationships such as these allow us to replicate the thrill of real money slots within a social gaming paradigm,” Corredera added.

North Carolina-based Grover Gaming develops a range of bingo, video slot and video game content, while 2 By 2, located in Chicago, holds over 45 patents and has a further 35 patents pending.

The deal is the first to be announced since CrowdGather finalised its merger agreement with Plaor, which is designed to allow the combined entity to capitalise on the opportunity presented by the social casino market.

Under the terms of the deal Corredera was promoted to president and COO of CrowdGather, while Plaor founding board member Hazim Ansari has been appointed to the company’s board of directors.
