Veterinarian and experienced racing executive Dr Eliot Forbes has been appointed chief executive of Racing Queensland, the Australian state’s governing body for horse racing.
Queensland’s racing minister Grace Grace welcomed Forbes’ appointment, describing him as having a proven track record of racing industry leadership both in Australia and abroad.
“Dr Forbes is exceptionally qualified for this role and he brings a superb set of skills and experience to Racing Queensland,” she said.
