MGM-backed social casino studio PLAYSTUDIOS has entered into a partnership with Genting Group’s integrated leisure complex Resorts World Birmingham to offer European rewards through its myVEGAS in-app loyalty programme.
Players on the myVEGAS Slots and myVEGAS Blackjack apps will be able to choose from a range of curated perks at the venue, including spa packages, free hotel rooms and an Ultimate Resorts World Experience package.
It becomes the operator’s second UK partnership, after it sealed a deal with London’s Hippodrome Casino in August this year. This adds to the operator’s existing US partners, which including casinos, restaurants and entertainment venues in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, as well as airline Allegiant Air and cruise line operator Royal Caribbean International.
Opened in October this year and located near the National Exhibition Centre, Resorts World Birmingham features a range of leisure outlets, including a cinema, a casino, bars and restaurants, shops and a boutique hotel.
“We're delighted that Resorts World has entrusted us with their newest brand and that they saw the value of becoming part of our loyalty rewards program,” PLAYSTUDIOS vice president of business development Jeff Netzer said. “Their newly opened Birmingham property will redefine hospitality standards for the region."
Resorts World Birmingham business development director Barry Clemo said he was very excited by the venue’s new partnership with PLAYSTUDIOS.
